Williamsburg Drummer's Call
May 21, 2016

The Fifes and Drums of York Town joined several other corps for the annual Colonial Williamsburg Foundation Drummer's Call. The skies opened right as the first corps stepped off for the parade down Duke of Gloucester Street in the Grand March and the rain stopped just about when the last corps completed the route. Since it was so wet, all the groups gathered indoors to share a sample of their music with each other. It is always a pleasure to connect with like-minded performers of period music. Some of our members also participated in the Torch Lit March and festivities later that evening.
