The Yorktown Fourth of July Parade is an annual delight for all
who visit our village. The Corps' participation in this event
is always one of the high spots of our summer performance season,
and this year was no exception.
Included in the pictures below are Bonnie and Jerry Karwac,
this year's Grand Marshalls. For their tireless effort in the
design and construction of the Yorktown War Memorial and their
many, many years of service on the Yorktown Historic Committee, this
honor was well deserved.
The Fifes and Drums of Yorktown salute them for their hardwork and
dedication and congratulate them on their well-deserved recognition.

After many months of prepartion, planning and practice at 7:00 PM on Independence
Day the Corps delivered the premier performance of their 30th Anniversary Field
Show. The program was designed by Drum Instructor James Camillucci and was
honed to a sharp edge by Instructors Teresa Haskin and David Abbott.
The Corps' months of effort were truly evident when they took the field, and the
performance served as a tremendous opening for an evening of music and fireworks.
