Nelson House Performance
May 28, 2011

For the Fifes and Drums of York Town, the National Park Service (NPS) Season begins with a performance at the Thomas Nelson House on the last Saturday in May. The feel of summer was definitely in the air on a typical, warm southern day with the slight threat of an afternoon thunder shower. The audience included tourists beginning their summer vacations as well as the occasional beach-goer wandering up from the York River. Following the performance, a reunion of former Corps members joined the group as they marched back to headquarters for a jam session.
