The Fifes and Drums of York Town's Summer Season officially began on May 27th as we presented our first National Park Service performance of 2006. As tradition dictates, the Corps performs at the home of Governor Thomas Nelson, Jr - signer of the Declaration of Independence, Commander of the Virginia Militia and wartime Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The Corps delivered a powerhouse performance for the audience in attendance and set the stage for a tremendous Memorial Day weekend.
