Revolutionary War
Grave Marker Dedication
April 5, 2014

The Fifes and Drums of York Town were invited to perform at the Shockoe Hill Cemetery in Richmond, VA. The Richmond Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held a Grave Marking Ceremony for five Virginia Patriots from the American Revolution era. Our Corps performed to honor George Raybourne, Fifer, 3rd and 4th VA Regiments (1755-1828). One of our Fifers also spoke about George Raybourne to those gathered to help keep his memory alive.
