Summer Trip
July 18 - 21, 2013

The Fifes and Drums of York Town visited four amazing venues on their 2013 Summer Trip. On the first day, they performed in Virginia on the lawns of two presidential estates: Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello and George Washington's home, Mount Vernon. The backdrops for these two performances were truly beautiful and the Corps members had a wonderful time touring the estates afterwards. The second day of the trip involved a performance in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in front of a large and very appreciative audience. The Corps spent the third day of their trip in Deep River, Connecticut for the largest fife and drum corps muster in the world. There they joined many other Corps in marching down Main Street in the traditional parade and later they exhibited their 2013 Field Show for the other Corps and fans.
