Opening for the Virginia Symphony
September 1st, 2007

After an absence of more than a year caused by the ill-winds of Tropical Storm Ernesto, Yorktown was delighted to celebrate the return of the Virginia Symphony. Shown below are this year's Symphony Organizer (Joy Phillips) and Master of Ceremonies (our own Superintendent Dan Smith).

As the pictures demonstrate, the weather was extraordinary and the crowd was exceptional. As always, the Celebrate Yorktown Committee did an outstanding job in preparing the event and all of our members had a great time performing.
