Opening for the Virginia Symphony
September 1, 2012

Despite the hot, humid weather, the Fifes and Drums of York Town donned their woolen regimentals as they continued the tradition of opening for the Virginia Symphony at the Yorktown Monument on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. A large crowd of picnickers on the hill overlooking the York River enjoyed the colonial music as well as "A Little Night Music".
