First Annual Yorktown Tattoo
October 18, 2009

The weather was freezing but spirits were high for the First Annual Yorktown Tattoo. The Fifes and Drums of York Town have traveled to other locales for tattoos and so corps officer Mrs. Carver suggested it was time for Yorktown to host one too. Through her hard work and that of many others, it became a reality this year. Since our claim to fame is Yorktown Day, the tattoo was held the day before on October 18. Our corps was joined by the Deep River Junior Ancients and the Marshall University Corps. Our numbers were small but the performances were great!
