Second Annual Yorktown Tattoo
October 17, 2010

The Second Annual Yorktown Tattoo occurred on a beautiful, autumn day in Yorktown, Virginia. The Fifes and Drums of York Town hosted four other fife and drum corps for a picturesque show by the York River. The Monumental City Ancient Fife and Drum Corps from Baltimore, Maryland, the Marquis of Granby Junior Ancient Fife and Drum Corps from Granby, Connecticut, the John Marshall Fife and Drum Corps from Huntington, West Virginia, and our neighbors, the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums, joined us for outstanding, crowd-pleasing performances at the York Monument. Tokens of gratitude were presented to each of the corps at the Monument as well. Afterwards, the hard work of many of our members' parents paid off as everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch back at our headquarters. The day came to a successful conclusion with everyone enjoying the traditional jam on the lawn.
